it’s with great reverence for this sacred island
& my ancestors buried beneath its soil…
that we call together our annual crete convergence- excavating our ancestral roots, holding elemental ceremony, reverently adventuring to sacred caves, rivers, mountains and sea…
since 2022, we have been gathering for 11+ days of ceremony, adventure, play, grief, reciprocity and precolonial study

We journey to ancient matriarchal temples of the Minoans,
to the fire altars within the mysterious caves,
to rivers, mountains, fields of medicinal herbs, grapes, olives and cactus.
We soak in the Mediterranean sun & strip down to our raw innocence, smash clay pots,
bury the dead and call forth new life of the eternal cycle.
We sing, rhyme, drum, wander, swim, embrace, hold dream counsel & take turns leading one another
through inspired transmissions of the heart.

we also reconnect the island of crete with the oracular coding of delphi
in mainland greece. a devout ripple of stewardship has been sparked and grows widly…
this is not a retreat.
this is the re-devoting to our undeniably purposeful life, in service to decolonial remembrance and stewardship of planet earth.
